Yesterday we were fortunate enough to receive a great letter from a repeat customer that had returned from his holiday at the Palm Wings Beach Resort in Altinkum telling us of the time that they have just spent in the hotel and offering that we could share this information with other would be travelers to this hotel. The review can be read below
Dear Sir / Madam
I am writing you this letter as I have just been on a holiday with your company to the Palm Wings Beach Resort in Altinkum with my family consisting of my wife, and 2 children aged 6 and 3. This is the first time as a family that we have been away for a hotel based holiday and it was a fantastic trip for us all. I believe that in the modern age it is far to easy for people to complain and it is often rare that a compliment is made when something has gone well.
We knew that the hotel has only opened a year before we had arrived and so the reviews that we had found before going on the holiday we quite varied for this hotel as there are problems to be expected with any new hotel I am sure but there was no sign of any problems whilst we were on our holiday. Having gone in September we were unsure of the weather but were looking to avoid the heat of summer and the weather was kind to us with a near perfect week.
To summarise our holiday we had the greatest family time in a hotel where everything was done for you. The local staff in the hotel could not have been nicer, especially with the children, you got the sense that kids are very important to families in Turkey as they were looked after so well by all. As a typically picky english family we initially had concerns over food options but there was a good mix of “Old Favourites” such as chicken and chips and pastas as well as more traditional and varied items for those with a more eclictic taste.
Our days were spent but the pool or down at the Sea playing with our children, with no cleaning, cooking or work to do we just played as a family and the kids swimming got so strong as well. With a kids club (we did not use it though), music by the pool, watersports and more there was always something to do. Also as our first experience of All Inclusive there was always something to eat and help our day along knowing when it was ice cream time and pancake time, then as the sun cooled down it was back to the villa for a shower and then off to dinner, then after dinner a quite jive at the kids disco for our boys before home to collapse, re charging for the next day.
For other people going to the hotel I would say it is a fantastic hotel for a family holiday, as with any holiday there are things to watch out for such as the side of the pool being rather slippery, getting down to the beach is quite steep BUT there are steps and a ramp so a push chair can go down, the food at the cafe near the beach is not great but to be honest that is a snack in the middle of the day.
All in all we had a FANTASTIC time swimming, eating and being a family again and this hotel was the perfect place to do it.
